INTRODUCING “THE BROTHERHOOD”
Carlos P. Romulo once said “Brotherhood is the very price and condition of man's survival”.
Now that we have a few years under our belts, it’s time you all meet the fine gentleman who have come up through the Rugby Rent Scholarship program. Being a part of the Denver Barbarians rugby club creates a kinship that’s hard to replicate anywhere else. But relocating to a new city, establishing an entire new way of life and transforming your identity …. well that that takes a certain bond that is only forged though the trials and tribulations of life itself. Introducing …. “The Brotherhood”.
We’ve reached a point at Rugby Rent Scholarships where we are confident in what we provide to our guys. But like anything in life, it’s a two way street.
These gentleman did what it took to make the transition to Denver successful. They pursued our Core Pillars with tenacity and grit, and refused to quit in the face of adversity. We’re extremely proud of these individuals, but more importantly these young men are living proof that we are accomplishing our mission: Providing affordable housing to rugby players who want to grow on and off the pitch.
All of these young men have grown immensely since they’ve come through the Rugby Rent Scholarship program. Now, they are taking on the role of Mentor for new recruits. They’ve come to realize that giving IS receiving.
